  1. "Seeds of Memory" is an eclectic, part acoustic, part electric album, that jumps genres like a frog hunting a juicy bug on a lily pad pond. It's a mellow album, easy on the mind & ears, but songs like "To be Treated Right," "Seed of Memory" & "Brave Awaking," carry weight in their lyrical subject matter & melodies which stick in my muse/5().
  2. Reissue/Repress on Black Vinyl without 7inch! The instrumental project from Detroit producer Apollo Brown (The Reset, Brown Study, Gas Mask). While most have come to know Apollo’s production for its smash mouth, head nodding, grime, Clouds reveals another aspect of his production ability.
  3. Repressed October on black vinyl. (No longer includes bonus 7-inch featuring Oddisee & Has-Lo.) Clouds is an instrumental project from Detroit producer Apollo Brown (The Reset, Brown Study, Gas Mask). While most have come to know Apollo's production for its smash mouth, head nodding, grime, Clouds reveals another aspect of his production.
  4. This album was surprising. Apollo Brown seemed like a generic soul producer, clearly influenced by 9th Wonder. He proved me wrong with this one. Clouds is a beat tape in the same vein as Donuts and the Beat Konducta albums. However, it does not sound like them. These beats are beautiful, atmospheric, and truly unique.

  9. Clouds received mixed reviews from critics. Roman Cooper of HipHopDX gave the album three out of five, saying that it was "more akin to a beat tape than an album". Mike Baber of RapReviews gave the album nine out of ten and called it "a very impressive and thoroughly enjoyable effort", noting that "album's sheer range and variety of songs is remarkable".
